More than 60 Indian new-age technology companies have gone public, achieving a cumulative market capitalisation exceeding $188 billion. Inc42 reports that 10 startups, including Turtlemint, Shiprocket, and Fractal Analytics, made their public market debut in 2026.

This wave represents a key sign of maturity for India's startup ecosystem. A public listing has long symbolised operational progression and long-term viability for Indian companies. For startups, it is a newer but critical rite of passage that enables investor exits and wealth creation.

Nearly 15 startups, including Zepto and OYO, are currently in various stages of their IPO journey. The list of publicly traded firms also includes Indian companies like MakeMyTrip and Freshworks, which are listed on the Nasdaq in the United States.

IPO Momentum Peaked in 2025

The startup IPO wave reached its peak in 2025, surpassing the momentum of the previous year. While 13 startups went public in 2024, that number was overtaken in 2025 with 18 companies making their market debut.

Major names that went public in 2025 included Meesho, Ather Energy, Urban Company, Lenskart, Groww, Pine Labs and PhysicsWallah. The list is expected to grow further in the current year.

To consolidate information on these companies, Inc42 has launched the Indian Listed New-Age Tech Company Tracker. This resource tracks share price movements and financial performance, providing a detailed look at the public market journey of these firms. You can explore more detailed company stats through the tracker.
