Autoplay previews have been divisive since they appeared. They demonstrably increase the chance a viewer starts something, and they equally reliably annoy the subset of users who want to read a synopsis in peace.
A settings toggle, finally
The test includes an easier route to disabling previews entirely, a control that previously sat several menus deep. Making it discoverable is a small change that addresses most of the long-running complaint.
