Beyond Appliances raises ₹110 crore Series B
Smart kitchen startup Beyond Appliances secured ₹110 crore ($10.4 million) in a Series B funding round led by Fireside Ventures.

Beyond Appliances has raised ₹110 crore, or $10.4 million, in a Series B funding round. The round was led by Fireside Ventures with participation from Dharana Capital and other undisclosed investors.
This follows a previous Series A round also led by Fireside Ventures with Dharana Capital's participation. The startup had earlier secured $2 million in seed funding from Fireside Ventures in November 2024 and $4 million in its Series A in August last year.
Company background and product portfolio
Founded in August 2024 by brothers Eshwar K Vikas and Rakesh Patil, Beyond Appliances is a Bengaluru-based smart kitchen technology company. It builds connected appliances designed around Indian cooking habits.
The flagship product is an Android-powered chimney. This device functions as a kitchen management system. Its display allows access to OTT and music applications. Users can set cooking reminders and manage grocery lists via integrations with Zepto and Blinkit. It also features the Chef Verse app for curated recipes from chefs and incorporates 3D suction technology.
The company's portfolio has expanded to include Plug-N-Play chimneys, smart hobs, and cooktops. It recently introduced the Cube Chimney model tailored for compact kitchens and rental homes. Ovens are the next planned launch. "Beyond Appliances will be coming out with its ovens within the next 9-12 months," said founder Eshwar K Vikas.
Growth and market traction
The startup reports a twofold increase in its marketplace share over the past year. It follows an omnichannel sales strategy. Currently, 60% of sales occur online and 40% offline.
Its offline footprint includes experience centres and retail outlets in Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, and Hyderabad. The brand claims a presence in 20 select stores in Bengaluru and has signed up with some large format retailers. It operates three exclusive stores to date with a pipeline for 15-20 more.
Founder Vikas stated they have about 300-400 customer touchpoints across general trade, alternate trade, and exclusive outlets. The aim is to reach 1,500-2,000 touchpoints. The customer base is around 1,200 users spread across Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, and Delhi NCR. Notably, 15% of revenue comes through customer referrals.
Plans are in place to expand the offline presence to 10 more cities over the next three years.
Use of funds and manufacturing capabilities
The new capital will primarily fund expansion into new kitchen product categories and strengthen the existing portfolio. A significant portion is earmarked for manufacturing growth.
Beyond Appliances currently manufactures about 90% of its products in-house. It operates two facilities in Delhi NCR and Bengaluru. The startup is now eyeing the setup of a new manufacturing plant in South or West India.
Funding will also be directed toward research and development. Co-founder and CTO Rakesh Patil highlighted the focus on solving everyday kitchen challenges. He said their R&D teams have worked closely with consumers over the last two years to translate insights into genuinely different products.
Founder vision and market context
Founder Eshwar K Vikas shared that Beyond Appliances recorded a net revenue of ₹40 crore in FY26. He refrained from disclosing bottom-line performance.
He framed the investment within a larger industry shift. We believe the next big shift in the appliance industry will come from building products that are not only technologically advanced but are fundamentally designed around how Indian households cook and live, Vikas said. He sees the opportunity ahead as significantly larger.
This funding round shows growing investor interest in India's smart home appliance sector. A wave of consumer tech startups is emerging, combining aesthetics with functionality rather than relying on design alone for premium pricing.
Other players like Fanzart, Magnific, XSCACE, Noctics Labs, and Glazonoid are also active. For some, a substantial portion of sales comes through architects and interior designers. Around 40% of NUOS’s home automation sales and 20% of Karban’s sales follow this channel.
Nester raised ₹19 crore in a pre-Series A round in February 2026. Optimist was reportedly in talks to raise about $10 million.
Shuchi Pandya, Principal at Fireside Ventures, pointed to Beyond Appliances's fundamentals. She cited its technology-led products, growing omnichannel presence, and strong in-house R&D and manufacturing capabilities as differentiators.
The company's immediate product roadmap is clear. Beyond Appliances will launch ovens within the next 9-12 months.
